The West Coast is known for its early spring. While east of the Rocky Mountains is just shaking off the snow and ice, we hide guilty, in the cherry blossoms. Its not all roses though, rain and wind storms cloud our skies and remind us of Mother Nature.
The stores filled with bright charming colours get us pumped up for hotter weather and vacations. Many of us are still in winter garb and dark hues, however preparations of our homes, wardrobes and mindset are changing. I may even have had some sunkissed cheeks the other day. The cocoon of winter is comforting, but spring forces us to enjoy the outside and garden or walk briskly along our favourite path. The sneaking blooms of the cherry blossoms and their magical appearance seemingly out of nowhere. Instagram is a flood of the proud pictures of spring. That only a real spring scrooge could get sick of.
Although I am not a super fan of florals in fashion or design or even in gardens for that matter. I believe there is always a time and a place for the special placement of flowers.
There really is nothing like a great bouquet or a water colour painting of this theme.
Maybe it reminds of Grandparents' gardens of roses and ever blooming plants. Do we really ever get bored of the Spring Collections with the nod to garden?

My new floral blazer and my 'fave' facial wash. Even if you don't love flowers or their pollen one can always be cheered up. “I must have flowers, always, and always.” ― Claude Monet |
